Elliptipar is moving away from their typical form factor and using a special extruded refracting lens instead. The new fixture S144 is a surface mounted asymmetric linear LED that uses these refracting optics in the lens. It also has a further diffusing material that blends the LEDs and eliminate the nodes. There is also an integral baffle that can be added as an option. The smallest length they can do is 2' and the longest single piece is 9' although they can be installed end-to-end. When we got a chance to look at the fixture we noticed that it threw most of the light at the top and then faded down. It would be a good option for more commercial projects. The Stack Light fixture has been re-imagined using the new lens system and provides a bi-symmetrical distribution. You can see the nodes, but we do not think it detracts from the fixture given that the performance on the vertical surfaces is so strong.
