Insight Light stopped by today to show 3 of their new products. 9-spot and D2X with IP67 suitable for exterior lighting with capability for adjustment and modification regarding light beam, lens. Starting with  D2X, the new generation of high performance Asymmetric indirect lighting family which can be used as a wall washer/ wall grazer with an adjustable arm. They also used the 9 to 17 diode with  a new DMX wireless system which gives room to fit the receiver in the housing and the new generation Cree's chip, XD16 (November 2017) in this fixture. Another neat feature is the heated lens option with 4 bands across, 24 volts from a power supply to melt the snow away.

  

9-Spot - 9SP White Light/Static Colors, in 30W, 50W and 100W with  5°, 10°, 20°, 40°, 60° and 100° horizontal spread. It comes in  RGB-W, RGB-A and RGB-line Quad Chip.

One of their standard controls for this fixture is Nicolaudie Light Dial. The control can be purchased through Insight.

They showed us the 5°, 50W, RGB-W from this family. They have developed a wide optic well enough to put 4 chips next to each other or grouping and placing the optic on top. Currently, they have 2700K, 4000K and 65000K as standard dynamic white. They also offer the Quad chip customization (static 2200K or static color) by putting circuitry on the board.

   

The C5X is an Interior linear wallwasher in 3.5W , 7W ,11W and 15W.

this is the LED version of Compact5 linear. It has a remote power supply with individual length of 4', 6' and 8'. The continues run, the end cap is in design phase (Coming later). It has a standard extruded Acrylic lens and optional micro blade louver with a possibility to be used as a wall/ceiling mounted, pendent or J-box with 5" canopy design. It has up to 18" projection off the wall.

In the end, they mentioned their budgetary cove lighting products are imported under the GL brand with a selection of housings, boards, and chips. 120° beam, grazer with different wattages of 7W, 10W, 13W per foot which will be around $82/ft. The second generation is coming with more options and higher efficacy.
