LSI stopped by our office to see a couple of fixtures they have developing. Their high output LumeLux track fixture is now available with warm dim, mimicking the halogen curve from 3K down to 2K. They are working on incorporating the warm dim technology into their smaller track heads and hope to release them later this year.
In addition to the adjustable track, LSI now has a fixed pendant track head which also incorporates the warm dim technology. They regressed the lens in the fixture to clean up the field angle as well as reduce the glare.
We also got to look at their LP SuperSpot fixture. It has a nice form factor that we liked, reminiscent of a par can. The fixture has a 4° beam, but they are working on developing a 10° and a 25° beamspread. We recommended that they also develop a 40° or 60° for instances where you would want a spot and a flood next to each other to wash and highlight.
