Today, Zaneen visited to show us their newly acquired partner: Letroh

We specifically looked at the Nodo.

The line of products is UL Listed and is good for spaces with power access challenges. It would be particularly good for hotels, corporate spaces, or retail.

It is a surface or suspended track that can be hardwired (3 circuits) or cord and plug (1 circuit).

The track has multiple different accessories that can be used to configure the track how you want it. Some of the accessories include:

  • Receptacle with power module

  • Stand to hold items while they charge

  • Gooseneck Light with touch dimmer

  • Linear strip light

  • Track heads

To switch circuits, there is a switch on the back of the fixture. Once selected the fixture gets put on to the track and then locked into place.

Today, Lumenture  visited the office to show us their product line.

Today we had Bold Lighting visit the office to show us their product line.

Bold's products are primarily made in China.

We started with the Downlights for hospitality: They are spec grade for around $100 DN.

  • These fixtures are usually spaced 3'-8' apart.

In general:

  • Products can be tunable white
  • Can be recessed, recessed trimless, surface, integrated
  • There is no glare when walking next to a fixture

They have grazers that come in 8 and 16 degree optics.

We also looked at Bold's 48V magnetic track mounted fixture options:

  • They have a Flush Linear track fixture
  • They also have the Break One: an adjustable linear that would be great for a gallery

  • They also have the Snoot: adjustable spotlights that come in 35 and 45 degree optics
